Our luxury A Winter Gathering wreath is a sustainably made affair. With a base of locally grown willow, and sustainably collected moss, we have added a whole host of evergreen foliage, which is all grown just down the road. We love making our Christmas wreaths from the things that grow around us – celebrating the abundance of nature, even in the depths of winter.
We work with local flower growers, using their unused stems, which they have dried and preserved ready for the Christmas season. It means that nothing is wasted from the abundance of the Summer and Autumn cutting patches. We save bits and bobs from our own cutting garden, and from our busy summer of weddings, and use these beautiful things too.
After Christmas, everything can be easily composted in your garden bin or heap. Any adornments like ribbons can be saved up for next year’s festivities.
Your Christmas wreath may not look exactly like the ones pictured…we find they have a mind of their own once we start creating. But we can tell you that it will be beautiful and it will give you a little moment of happiness every time you open your front door this December.
Our wreaths are, once again, just available to customers local to Bude. We think that’s a more environmentally minded way of doing things. You can opt for the Collection option when you order your wreath and we will email you to arrange a convenient time for you to pick up from our studio in Bude. Alternatively we can deliver, for a small charge, up to a distance of 12 miles from Bude.
